Why Join Hart Rates ?

At Hart Rates we aim to create a vibrant and professional community of hopeful models and photographers. We like to encourage our members by frequently offering free photo shoots and hosting different competitions with fabulous and exciting prizes.

If you have ever considered or are considering a career in modelling or photography or just enjoy either as a hobby, Hart Rates is the perfect place for you to receive professional, constructive feedback and criticism. It's a great place to communicate with up and coming models and photographers all over the world and to provide one another with suggestions, tips and advice.

Hart Rates is also ideal if you want to receive professional feedback on your photos without having them revealed to the entire world. You have the option to send your photos privately to only us, meaning we will provide you with a lengthy and professional evaluation of your photo/s without having them revealed to anyone else.

Who Are The Site Owners?

We are 2 females students from Australia. Our names are Denise and Poonam and since a very young age we have been very passionate media enthusiastic  We've both worked together on several projects and both hope to pursue careers in journalism at some point in the future.

What Inspired You To Create Hart Rates?

There are many model management agencies  but little model scouting organisations which give opportunities  to people with little experience and agencies in the professional modeling industry.

We created Hart Model Search because we believed that as well as assisting aspiring models improve themselves & achieve their dreams, we could learn something from all of you and broaden our perspective on fashion, beauty, modelling and photography.

If I Send My Photos On Here, Are They Completely Private For Only The Judges?

Yes, however you if you enter a competition then you are accepting to have these photos publicly posted on the site if you do win. If you send your photo/s for the purpose of being reviewed for personal reasons then only the judges will be able to view them. If you post them publicly on the social media sites then everyone connected will be able to view and share them. In order to become a member and post and view images on the community forum, you must join our Official Google Plus Page.

I'm Very Nervous About Posting My Photos; What If People Say Mean Things?

The aim of this site is for the community (including ourselves) to provide one another with constructive criticism, not harsh or inappropriate comments. In the unfortunate case that you do post your photos publicly on our social media sites and have another member post comments intended to offend or insult, there will be an option to report them.

We will aim to view all reports with 6 or less hours of you submitting them and if we do feel that a user made an inappropriate or unacceptable comment, we will delete them from the website.

Please note, our social media pages are designed for users to receive critiques on their images. While you may not agree with a certain comment posted on your image, that DOES NOT mean it is intended to offend or harass you. Below are two example comments

Example 1) User29: This photo is awful, your face and make up look pathetic! You should delete it right away!

= A comment such as this would be deemed inappropriate, as the user is making distasteful personal attacks on the persons appearance and providing no helpful suggestions or advice

Example 2) User29: I think this photo is one of your weaker ones. You facial expression is a little awkward. Maybe if you had lowered your face a bit and tried to make eye contact with the camera, it would have looked better. Also, I think brighter lighting would have looked better.

= This is appropriate, as the user is providing an opinion and offering suggestions and advice without resorting to using offensive or attacking language.
